Valentine's Day: Part 1

Happy Valentine's Day folks! (A couple days late)
This here is the love of my life, Ryan:

Isn't he handsome?

This is where we went:

It's in Malibu, CA.

We had an ocean view :)
There were surfers.

We had a visitor:

He was so quizzical. Just curious and I thought he was going to come in the window! The window was open and so it was a possibility!

Ryan treated me to a mimosa! Ryan's was guava/pineapple (i don't know), but mine was the classic.
We also had chocolate strawberries! How festive of us!
Now we didn't just have an amazing brunch, there's more surprises to come ;)

Amanda's New Beau

Amanda (my sister), Andrew (her boyfriend), Ryan and I went to Elephant Bar in Burbank last Friday. It was super fun to get to know Andrew better and of course hang out with Amanda.
This is my Mai Tai. Good prices for drinks at Elephant Bar. The bartender completely dissed Andrew and Amanda. I was pretty blunt about how rude he was and he felt bad and slipped Andrew a "free dessert" coupon. Amanda and Ryan were helping Andrew use his chopsticks for the ahi tuna appetizer we had. The bartender comes over and says, "I would never date a girl that didn't know how to use chopsticks" (thinking we were teaching Amanda). I said, "Whoa diss" and then he asks us for a hairtie so he could put the chopsticks together and hand them to Andrew. He says, "I'm just trying to help you out, man" (like on his game) and I said, "Are you insulting us?" How rude.
Anyways, this is the mud pie and it was on that jerk bartender.

Sorry for the blurry pics. It was low lighting, and of course, Courtney is still learning how to use her camera. *sigh*

There's something on your nose, Ryan!

Anyways, good times were had by all.
Must do it again soon :)

An Italian Dinner

Ryan, Cassie, and I went to Alex's new apartment for dinner last night. It was really fun. Alex cooked chicken parm and cheese bread and we had wine. To tell you the truth though, most of my pictures weren't the greatest. I'm still learning and I can tell I haven't mastered the settings on my camera, nor the manual focus. We played the Wii. Not American Idol (pictured) but Smash Mario Bros. Cassie and I kept dying and Alex and Ryan were dominating.
Kelsey called and Alex and I talked to her for a bit. Looks serious, but it wasn't. hah.
Now, this is quitessential Ryan. Asleep.

I will leave you on that note, since I will be falling asleep soon myself.

Night,

First Subject: Ryan

Took some pictures of my love, Ryan. He was a good sport as I snapped away! He's so cute :)
Ryan snuck a picture of me in there. Which I'm glad because then I can never be the subject!

A sneeze?
Hope you enjoyed! Next, what? Headshots? hah.

Until next time,

Attempt #2 at Griffith Observatory

Yesterday was a beautiful day; whereas today was rainy. So good thing yesterday I had the day off work and went picture taking all the way up to the Griffith Observatory. It was good to have some alone time. I read my book in the cafe with some (too) sweet hot chocolate and walked around snapping pictures. Funny enough I saw Adam, one of the guys from the comedy duo Picard Manuever. Ryan directed a music video for them in Fall 2009. I told Ryan that I "papped his ass" which means I took pictures of him without him knowing LOL. I don't think he recognized me, but I'm so glad because it was definitely stalker status. Anyways, here are some pictures from the day :) KTLA channel 5 news was there for some reason. They had helicopters circling... no idea why.
I'm really fond of the sun poking out from behind pics.
This picture above is hilarious. Two old people over looking Hollywood next to a statue bust of James Dean. It was just classic.
I know that was a ton of pictures, but a picture is worth a 1000 words. Tell me if this is too many pictures for one post. And I will edit next time around.
